The Apprentice’s Amy Anzel showcased her incredible abs as strolled through town after her morning workout session.
The beauty entrepreneur turned heads in Manchester as she walked along in a bronze-coloured sports bra with dark green leggings and a sage-coloured zip-up top, and her pristine white trainers coordinated with her manicure.
Amy clutched a bottle of water to keep hydrated following her gym session as she took a phone call on her mobile.
And, showing that it’s all about moderation, Amy tucked into a donut from Gooey on Ducie Street.
The BBC business show contestant grabbed a seat to enjoy her sweet treat as she continued her call.
Amy, who was ‘fired’ by Lord Alan Sugar after six weeks on The Apprentice following a tourism challenge in north Wales, recently opened up about her five stone weight loss.
She decided to lose weight after being diagnosed with two health conditons after the birth of her son Jacob, who is now five.
And she says she ‘barely recognises herself’ after shedding the weight before taking part in The Apprentice.
She explained: “After giving birth of Jacob, I was diagnosed with two conditions, Hypothyroidism, a condition where your thyroid doesn’t produce enough hormones – and a thyroid related autoimmune disease called Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis – where the immune system makes antibodies that attack the thyroid and therefore it becomes under active and causes weight gain.”
She continued: “After years of struggling and despite doctors telling me it was something I would just have to live with (as these two conditions make it extremely difficult for someone to lose weight successfully) I decided enough was enough, and knowing that I was in the running for @BBCApprentice, I decided that 2021 was going to be the year – and I finally did it!”
Amy says that with the right medication, monitoring by doctors, a diet plan and an exercise regime tailored to her conditions she was able to lose weight she’d gained during and after pregnancy and she is now back at 10 stone.
Amy says she achieved her weight loss goal in four to five months.
“I started weight training several times a week, and rain or shine I ALWAYS made sure to do 10,000 steps per day, no excuses… I completely overhauled my diet and made many lifestyle changes along the way,” she explained.
New Yorker Amy, who lives in London, runs Hollywood Browzer Beauty, a beauty tools brand that specialises in dermaplaning, hair removal and exfoliation tools.
She is also an actress and producer who has sung jingles on hundreds of commercials including for Burger King and Coca-Cola.
She previously crowdfunded a musical version of US comedy series Happy Days, raising £250,000 from 345 investors in just six weeks.
And she appeared on the first series of The Bachelor in 2002 in the hunt for a husband on the US reality series in which a single man dates a group of women over several weeks.
After The Apprentice started airing in January, after being filmed last summer, she lifted the lid to the Manchester Evening News about her experience.
She revealed that contestants have a 4am wake-up call – or 2am in the case of the fishing task in Cornwall 2am – and they are given just 20 minutes to get ready.
“It’s like that feeling before you have to get up for an early flight and you don’t really sleep, it was that feeling every time,” said Amy.
“Then you hear production coming through the door.
“We had five girls in one room and three in an other and you have to figure it out.
“It was like a machine.”
And she said romance was strictly banned in the house.
“They did say beforehand it’s not allowed, don’t even think about it,” she said.
“I can’t imagine how you would have the time or energy.”
