Slim Sharon Osbourne, 70, displays her 30lbs weight loss after using Hollywood’s controversial jab as she goes shopping

Sharon Osbourne displayed her slimmer figure as she headed out shopping in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

The television personality, 70, recently admitted she lost a staggering 30lbs over four months through controversial weight loss jabs, but it left her feeling nauseous.

Sharon, who has stopped using the injections, wore a white shirt and black trousers with piping as she hit the shop Estefano Ricci and later went to pick up some food at Nate’n Al’s.

The former X Factor judge donned a white hat and sunglasses to protect herself from the sunshine and accessorised with a Loewe shoulder bag.

It looked like it had been a successful shopping trip as Sharon emerged carrying her purchases in a large brown bag.

Sharon revealed last month that she dropped 30 pounds over the course of fourth months after using the Wegovy injection, which is the brand name for the semaglutide medicine that works by reducing appetite.

The former X Factor judge said she felt nauseous everyday and insisted it was not a ‘quick fix.’

During a discussion on the controversial injections on The Talk, Sharon shared her first-hand experience of the drugs, after it was announced that WeGovy’s launch in the UK had been put on pause.

‘It is a mental problem. It really is, apart from, you know, when children grow up in a household where they live off chips and pies,’ she said.

‘But I took (the injection.) I took it for four months and I lost 30 pounds, but like everything, there’s always no quick recipe.

‘I was very sick for a couple of months. The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever.

‘But listen, I took it for four months, I lost 30 pounds. I’ve just shoved two chips in my mouth, while we had the break, and I eat normally now, and I haven’t put on a pound. Nothing.’

The weight loss drug that has left some with so-called ‘Wegovy butt’ wasn’t the only drastic solution Sharon has turned to to help her lose weight.

Back in 1999, she underwent gastric bypass surgery to help her slim down significantly.

However, she later admitted to having regrets over the procedure, and in 2014 she told Entertainment Tonight that she felt like a ‘cheat’ for using a medical surgery to help her lose weight, rather than doing it all through dieting and increased exercising.

The procedures, also called a lap band, involves placing an inflatable band in a ring around the upper portion of the stomach.

The restrictive band effectively shrinks the size of the stomach, preventing the patient from eating large meals, and it has the advantage of not permanently shrinking or dividing the stomach, as happens with more invasive procedures.

It certainly helped her lose weight — an astounding 100lbs — but the side effects weren’t worth it as far as Sharon was concerned.

‘It makes you vomit the whole time. Nothing goes down because it goes out,’ she complained to ET.

She eventually had the band removed in 2006, at which point she went back to focusing on traditional diet and exercise to maintain a slimmer figure.
