Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan congratulated Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock for his incredible weight loss, but joked he deserves credit.
The former Tottenham, West Ham, Southampton, Liverpool and Palace man has been on a health kick, which has seen him lose nearly seven stone in weight.

He underwent gastric sleeve surgery after being inspired to do so by reality TV star James ‘Arg’ Argent, who lost 13 stone from the operation.
Ruddock used Instagram to show just how far he is on his weight loss journey, calling it a ‘fresh start’ having previously weighed 27 stone during lockdown.
Jordan, who owned Palace during Ruddock’s brief spell at the Premier League club, was on hand to send his best wishes, and joked he played a role in such an impressive effort.
Jordan tweeted: “I have to say this is brilliant to see Neil in this nick. There was a point when, wherever you sat in a room Neil was sitting next to you.
“Good to see all that money I spent on a dietician at Palace for him, finally paid off. Well done that man for getting it together.”
Ruddock signed for Palace in 2000, the first year in which Jordan was owner of the south London side.

Jordan previously recalled to talkSPORT he told Ruddock he was no longer needed at the club “because we couldn’t take any more bathroom scales that he stood on and broke.”
The former centre-back spent just one season at the club though before signing for then Division Two side Swindon Town.
Joining talkSPORT on Wednesday morning, he said it was great to have his energy levels back and was feeling great.
