The Make Wake Artists founder took to social media on Tuesday (June 20) to let fans know that Luke Combs is not affiliated with any weight loss gummies and to thank fans and his colleagues for bringing this matter to his attention.

“Thank you to everyone who keeps sending me these ads,” Kappy wrote via a statement on his Instagram. “No we are not doing this gummy. These companies are out of the country and are using AI to create ads using the likeness of Luke and other celebrities. This is also happening to Oprah Winfrey and countless others.”
He then went on to request fans to report the false advertisements if they see them come up on their social media news feeds.
“If you see an ad like this, please report it,” Kappy continued.
Issued A Warning About AI Being “A Scary Thing”
He also issued a warning to other artists’ management teams about artificial intelligence (AI). ”To other managers out there, AI is a scary thing and they’re using it against us. If you see this happening, please report it as quickly as possible,” Kappy added.
Lainey Wilson Is Also Speaking Out On False Advertising Using Her Likeness
Luke Combs isn’t the only artist dealing with fake weight loss gummies ad campaigns. Combs current tourmate Lainey Wilson is also speaking out to alert fans of the false ad campaigns circulating around the internet via a video public service announcement.
“PSA if y’all have seen these ads, they’re entirely fake. Don’t fall for them and help me out by reporting them when you see them,” Wilson captioned the clip.
In the short video, Wilson addresses the false advertisements with her signature southern charm while making light of the situation.
“Alright y’all, by now I’m sure a lot y’all have seen some ads about me losing weight, being hospitalized and then I started taking some weight loss gummies and blah blah blah that saved my life. Well surprise, it ain’t true,” Wilson stated. ”People will do whatever to make a dollar, even if it is lies. Cause ain’t nobody sent me any gummies.”
Wilson also pointed out that some fans may have noticed that she has shed a few pounds in recent months. However, the “Watermelon Moonshine” singer assured fans that it has nothing to do with weight loss gummies and that it’s a result of her endless dedication to her craft.
“If I have lost weight, it’s because I am working hard and playing hour and a half shows and running around every night of my life,” Wilson continued. ”And to be honest me losing weight or gaining weight ain’t got anything to do with my music.”

Lainey Wilson Issued A Public Service Announcement: “Do Not Fall For It”
She concluded her PSA with a message to her fans, letting them know that she loves her fans too much to let them spend their money on something that’s not real.
“I love y’all. I just don’t want y’all spending money on something that ain’t real. Do not fall for it, but I’ll tell you what,” the Louisiana native said, before joking, ”It’d be real nice if they made some gummies that made ya ass tell the truth. You get a gummy, you get a gummy, we all gettin’ gummies.”
Luke Combs World Tour 2023
Luke Combs is currently in the midst of his massive World Tour, which kicked off on March 25 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The extensive trek runs through October 19, where it will wrap up in London, England at The O2 Arena.
In total, the tour will visit 16 stadiums across North America, including Nashville’s Nissan Stadium, Kansas City’s GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium and more. Hitting three continents and 16 countries, the massive outing will also stop in Australia, New Zealand, U.K., Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, France and Belgium.
Riley Green, Lainey Wilson, Flatland Cavalry and Brent Cobb serve as support on the North American tour dates, while special guests on the Australian and New Zealand dates include Cody Johnson and Lane Pittman.

Tour Supports His New Album, Gettin’ Old
Additionally, the tour comes in support of Luke Combs latest album, Gettin’ Old, which arrived on March 24, 2023.
The project features 18 tracks, including “Growin’ Up And Gettin’ Old,” “See Me Now,” “Joe,” “Tattoo On A Sunburn,” the fan-favorite tune, “5 Leaf Clover,” and his buzzed-about cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car.”
“This album is about the stage of life I’m in right now. One that I’m sure a lot of us are in, have been through, or will go through,” Combs previously explained on social media.
He continued, “It’s about coming of age, loving where life is now but at the same time missing how it used to be, continuing to fall for the one you love and loving them no matter what, living in the moment but still wondering how much time you have left, family, friends, being thankful, and leaving a legacy. Me and so many others have poured their hearts and souls into this record and I hope you love it as much as we do.”
While Gettin’ Old was released as a standalone album, it serves as a second (more mature) chapter, of his previously released project, Growin’ Up. When placed side by side, the album covers connect as one cohesive image. The album art seemingly refers to the shift Combs has seen in his life, from his days in the bar scene, to a life that revolves around being home with family in a house on a hill.
Expecting His Second Child
On the personal front, the North Carolina native is expecting his second child with his wife, Nicole. The couple announced the news to fans on social media on March 20.
“Joining the 2 under 2 club! Baby boy #2 coming this September,” Luke and Nicole shared in a joint Instagram post.
The couple welcomed their first child, Tex Lawrence, on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19, 2022.
