The reality is that skipping breakfast or eating an unbalanced breakfast – one rich in so-called junk foods – can impact mental performance. Academic achievement is improved by eating a balanced breakfast from at least three of the five food groups. By emphasizing healthy choices for teen breakfast, this video can teach teens some insider tips on how to be better prepared mentally for their day.
