Horned Capitol insurrectionist starving in jail because he lacks organic food: his mom

Jacob Chansley, AKA Jake Angeli, the Arizona man who helped break into the U.S. Capitol while wearing horns and animal skin is starving in prison, his mother told ABC15 News.

According to the report, Chansley hasn’t eaten since he was detained on Friday, because the jail doesn’t have organic food.

“Chansley politely addressed the judge but did not make any statements regarding the charges against him. He did say that he may be able to contact a friend who could provide a private attorney for him,” said ABC15.

Before turning himself into the FBI, Chansley told ABC15 that he wasn’t worried because he “didn’t break any laws. I walked through open doors.”

Martha Chansley, who was in the courtroom on Monday, “was unapologetic for her son’s role in the violent and deadly disruption of Congress,” said the report. “Members had to be evacuated while trying to certify votes from the November presidential election.”

Other than the elected officials who had to flee for safety, staff in the Capitol were forced to hide under tables fearful that insurrectionists would kill them once they broke down the door.

Despite the dead animals he wore, his mother called him a “patriot” and the “gentlest person I know.”

President Donald Trump is facing a business crisis only nine days before he returns to the private sector.

“In the span of four days, President Trump’s family business has lost its online store, the buzz from Mr. Trump’s promotional tweets about its luxury resorts and bragging rights as host to one of the world’s most prestigious golf tournaments. The mob attack on Congress last week by Mr. Trump’s supporters has spurred a reckoning for the Trump Organization by businesses and institutions, at a scale far greater than his previous polarizing actions,” The New York Times reported Monday.

On Monday, KREM reported that Your T1 WIFI, an internet service provider located in northern Idaho, has informed customers that they are blocking Facebook and Twitter “for censorship.”

“It has come to our attention that Twitter and Facebook are engaged in censorship of our customers and information,” said the company in a message to subscribers. “Our company does not believe a website or social networking site has the authority to censor what you see and post and hide information from you, stop you from seeing what your friends and family are posting. This is why with the amount of concerns, we have made this decision to block these two websites from being accessed from our network.”

The Internet is unleashing mockery after Ivanka Trump let it be known she plans to attend the presidential inauguration of Joe Biden. At any other point in U.S. history it would not even have been news, but rather, an assumption and expectation that the First Daughter and Advisor to the outgoing President would attend the event, but these are strange times.

The eldest Trump daughter isn’t planning on attending for patriotic reasons, nor for a chance to witness history first hand, nor to support the incoming administration.

“Ivanka is worried that her promising political career is in jeopardy and she’s doing whatever she can to save her reputation,” according to the Daily Mail, citing a White House insider who says, “Ivanka is convinced that by attending Biden’s inauguration she will come across as a good sport and will gain future supporters.”

President Donald Trump, who will most likely be impeached once again this week, made clear he would not be attending Biden’s inauguration in one of his final tweets ever, last week. And the lame duck President reportedly is “up in arms about Ivanka’s decision, calling it the ‘worst decision she could ever make.'”

It may all just be for show. Given the coronavirus pandemic, the Biden transition and inaugural teams have drastically reduced the number of tickets available.

Members of the House and Senate on average, for example, each used to get about 375 tickets on average to hand out to their constituents and staff – a total of 200,000 for all of Congress. For Joe Biden’s inauguration, each lawmaker will get only two, one for them and one for a guest.

Social media users were quick to call out Ivanka Trump.

In what capacity is Ivanka invited to Joe Biden’s inauguration? Will she just be standing out on the mall? https://t.co/xOlYcdI6bv
