Alison Hammond looks great & thinner than ever in mini dress after weight loss

ALISON Hammond looked incredible in a glamorous dress as she showed off her weight loss.

The bubbly Brummie danced in the shimmering gold number that showcased her long legs.

Alison, 47, was posing at a photoshoot in the mini-dress with puffy sleeves and sweetheart neckline.

The This Morning host wore her hair in a high ponytail and looked flawless with shimmery makeup look.

Alison grooved in between shots and looked slimmer than ever after her impressive weight loss.

Earlier this year Alison told how she’s determined to live a “fantastic life” – despite coming to the realisation that she might die “a little bit sooner” because of her weight.

The mum of one is trolled on a daily basis about her size – but refuses to slim down for others.

She previously told The Mirror: “Sometimes I look at myself and go, ‘Wow, I am a big girl’. But I like taking up a bit of space.

“I take a little bit of extra space in the world and I don’t think I’m hurting anyone.”

She added: “We’re all going to die eventually. I might die a little bit sooner, but I’m going to live my life to the fullest.

“And if I do die sooner, I’m going to have a fantastic life. I’m going to have a wonderful life. I’m 47 now, I don’t know how long I’m going to go on for.”

Alison shot to fame when she competed in the third series of then-Channel 4 reality show Big Brother in 2002, and she went on to land a job as a reporter on This Morning in 2003.

She now co-hosts the brunch-time show every Friday with Dermot O’Leary.

Alison made a huge announcement about her career, telling fans she will not be on air for a staggering seven weeks.

In common with many of the main presenters, she is getting a huge summer holiday break.

She delivered the news to fans before This Morning today saying: “Hello there, we are going live at 10am today.

“It’s my last day before my holidays – I’m off for seven weeks.

“I’m going to miss you guys but yeah it’s our last show, come and join us, it’s Friday.”

Alison and Dermot had been hosting This Morning all last week in place of regular hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

The pair were made the regular Friday hosts, replacing long-running This Morning stars Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.

The stand-ins will start on Monday with Alison’s Big Brother pal Josie Gibson hosting with Craig Doyle.

Other combinations set to appear before September include Andi Peters and Rochelle Humes.

Ruth will also return to front the show alongside Rylan Clark, while Vernon Kay and Mollie King will also appear.

Holly and Phil – plus Alison and Dermot on Friday – will be back on air once schools return in September.
