‘I’ve started hiking, I really like it!’ Adele reveals she enjoys long walks as she maintains her 100lbs weight loss

Adele revealed she taken up hiking on Tuesday as she works to maintain her whopping 100lbs weight loss.

The superstar, 34, has found that since her health kick in 2021, she really enjoys going on long walks with her headphones in.

Speaking live on stage during her long-awaited residency show in Las Vegasat Caesars Palace, she asked the crowd: ‘Guess what I’ve started doing?’

Adele told the audience: ‘I’ve started hiking. I really like it. I put my headphones on and get on with it. I’m out of breath. This is a stadium-sized theatre, it’s quite a walk.’

She also went on to tell the audience that friendships are ‘better’ than any romantic partner.

She added: ‘I see so many groups of friends that come in here… loving an artist or a song. That’s how I became so close to some of my friends.’

‘When relationships fall apart whether you’re married or not it’s really difficult and traumatic so keep your friends close to you because they’re better than any man, they’re better than any woman,’ Adele continued.

‘Friends are for life. Thank you for the little whine. My son’s struggling to go to bed so it could be that, and England lost.’

Last year, Adele revealed that she is addicted to exercise as she made history as the first celebrity to cover British and US Vogue

Weight loss: Adele has been doing rigorous weight-lifting and circuit-training sessions every day – for three years and counting (pictured left earlier this year, right in 2008)

Speaking about her incredible weight loss over a period of two years she said: ‘It was because of my anxiety. Working out, I would just feel better.

‘It was never about losing weight, it was always about becoming strong and giving myself as much time every day without my phone. I got quite addicted to it. I work out two or three times a day.’  

Adele has been doing rigorous weight-lifting and circuit-training sessions every day – twice a day if her anxiety is running high – for three years and counting.

Health: In an interview with Vogue she explained: ‘It was never about losing weight, it was always about becoming strong and giving myself as much time every day without my phone’
